This can be a frustrating and stressful situation, but American RTS can provide you the help you need to resolve the issue efficiently and safely.

Here's an overview of how vehicle lockout services are typically handled:

  • Contact American RTS If you find yourself locked out of your vehicle.

  • Provide necessary information: When you call for help, be prepared to provide the following information:

  •  Your exact location: Provide the address or the nearest landmarks to help the service provider locate you quickly.

  •  Make and model of your vehicle: This information helps the locksmith or service provider come prepared with the appropriate tools for your specific vehicle.

  •                         Verify ownership: To ensure the safety and security of your vehicle, the locksmith or service provider may ask for some form of identification or proof of ownership. This is a standard procedure to prevent unauthorized access to vehicles.

  •                         Gain access to the vehicle: The locksmith or service provider will arrive at your location with the necessary tools and expertise to unlock your vehicle without causing any damage. They may use specialized lockout tools or techniques to gain access to the car.

  •                         Retrieving keys: Once the vehicle is unlocked, you can retrieve your keys and regain access to your car.

It's important to note that attempting to unlock your vehicle yourself using improvised tools or methods may lead to damage to your car's locks or windows. It's best to seek professional help to ensure the lockout situation is resolved without causing harm to your vehicle. To avoid lockouts in the future, consider taking precautionary measures such as carrying a spare key, keeping an extra key with a trusted friend or family member, or using a keyless entry system if your vehicle has one.
